Leibniz Publishing Fund for Articles in Open Access Journals

The Leibniz Association supports publishing in open access journals with central publication fund from the strategy funds of the Leibniz Association executive board since 2017.
The fund will be continued until 30 June 2024 and will be managed by the Technical Information Library (Technische Informationsbibliothek / TIB). The use of the funds is associated with funding criteria. The maximum netto amount of a publication is 1680 €.
New since 1 February 2023: The Best Practice Criteria which allow a maximum netto amount of 2000 € for a publication.

It is possible to file an application once an article is submitted. Please use the central application form.
The TIB attends to applications on the basis of promotion criteria and order of submission. An email notification will be sent to the applicant after 1-3 work days. When the article will be funded, the TIB informs in this email about the invoice data.
